In response to the pressing issue of low-income adults in Cary/Morrisville struggling to secure well-paying jobs due to limited formal education, Dorcas offers an opportunity for individuals to learn and train in cohorts. Tuition is free, and we provide stipends for related expenses and offer professional development to equip graduates with both academic and professional readiness. The Fall 2023 Biowork Cohort is currently pursuing Process Technician certification at Wake Tech Community College, building upon the success of previous cohorts in fields like bookkeeping, central sterile processing, and IT support technician.
